The artist Jérôme Chazeix is based in Berlin and works with multimedia installations in the form of hybrid parallel worlds which he calls “total” objects. As a participatory part of the concept he often realizes performances that are shown as videos during the duration of the exhibition. Chazeix works are platforms for theatrical installations. The artist will work with the students of a 9th class in Kreuzlingen for two weeks. As a base for this teamwork will be a Renaissance song (Tourdion, XVI J.). In dialogue with the kids new lyrics will be written and videos will be made. The project functions as a platform for a common reflection. It generates a place where the artistic ideas and ideas of the participants meet and a dialogue starts.
This kind of phantasm around the mountains, the myths, feelings evokes questions about the own identity and origin. Thanks to the videos, sculptures, costumes and performances a poetic universe is created, that in regard to anthroposophy and the person of Rudolf Steiner reflects an own artistic explanation of the world. At the opening the live performance will be filmed and during the duration of the exhibition the video is shown as part of the installation. The atmospheric acoustic background composed by the electric collective leed:audio (Leipzig) will support the “harmony of the spheres” and complete the artwork.
